Follow what is working for the top leaders. \u00a0Don&#8217;t waste your time.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How do you find out what the Industry Leaders are Using for their\u00a0Website?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-2053\" src=\"https:\/\/www.terryculkin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Wappalyzer-icon-150x150.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.terryculkin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Wappalyzer-icon-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/www.terryculkin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Wappalyzer-icon-300x297.png 300w, https:\/\/www.terryculkin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Wappalyzer-icon.png 686w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There is an app for that! \u00a0Actually, it&#8217;s a free plugin. \u00a0I use Chrome for this, there is a plugin for Firefox too.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wappalyzer.com\">Wappalyzer <\/a>is a great application that will show you what software a website is using. \u00a0Got to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wappalyzer.com\">https:\/\/wappalyzer.com<\/a> and\u00a0clcik\u00a0on download. \u00a0You will see the link for the plugins. \u00a0Here you can install it into your Firefox or Chrome browser.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Using Wappalyzer is easy to\u00a0see if they use a WordPress Website!<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-2054\" src=\"https:\/\/www.terryculkin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Wappalyzer-App-300x224.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"268\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.terryculkin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Wappalyzer-App-300x224.png 300w, https:\/\/www.terryculkin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Wappalyzer-App-768x573.png 768w, https:\/\/www.terryculkin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Wappalyzer-App-510x382.png 510w, https:\/\/www.terryculkin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Wappalyzer-App.png 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 268px) 100vw, 268px\" \/>When you are on the website just look up where the icons are and you will see an icon of the website. \u00a0On my website you will see the WordPress icon, I use WordPress.<\/p>\n<p>Some sites are hosted on Web builders like Squarespace\u00a0or Shopify.\u00a0 This app will show that as the host.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How can this work for your business?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Look up the top leaders in your industry. \u00a0Some googling around and you will quickly find who is a leader. \u00a0Or search on Facebook and LinkedIn\u00a0to see these people\u00a0as well. \u00a0They are called influencers.<\/p>\n<p>A quick search for Fashion Influencer\u00a0or Cyber Security\u00a0Influencer\u00a0gives names like Grace Bonney (WordPress)\u00a0 Eugene Kaspersky (WordPress).\u00a0 These are the people you need to look for.\u00a0 The people who have thousands of followers and have updated blogs.<\/p>\n<p>I see in many forums what people recommend.\u00a0 When I see people who talk about other platforms besides WordPress website I see very little on their websites.\u00a0 I also see very little influence on Social Media.\u00a0 If you are going to pick a platform to build a business\u00a0build one that others are successful\u00a0on.<\/p>\n<p>Once you find these people go to their website and see what the icon says. \u00a0Clicking on it will give you more information.<\/p>\n<p>So what platform is popular in for your industry leaders?
